On April 1-3, master's students from the Applied Digital Philology program and their supervisor, S.A. Manik, Head of the Institute for Humanities, completed an internship at the Patrice Lumumba Peoples' Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University) under the "Professional Development in the Age of Digital Innovation and Cultural Diversity" program. This is the second time our students have been exposed to the experience of their colleagues from the Moscow university in the field of digitalization of the humanities. This trip was part of a cooperation agreement and with the support of the IvSU Rector's Office.
On March 27-28, 2026, IvSU philologists participated in the international scientific and practical conference "Developing Students' Intellectual Abilities and the Application of Artificial Intelligence in Russian Language Teaching," held at Moscow State Pedagogical University. The conference discussed the challenges of cognition in the digital age and prospects for developing students' intellectual abilities through Russian language teaching in a live communication environment and in an artificial intelligence environment.
Our students took a tour of East Sarajevo. Their hosts were their colleagues, Ana Motika and Andžela Pržuli from the University of East Sarajevo, who themselves studied at IvSU last semester on a student exchange program.
On March 13-14, the 3rd International Economic Forum "Russia-Balkans in the Architecture of a Multipolar World. Prospects for Economic Integration" was held in Moscow. Representatives of the business and academic communities of the Russian Federation and the Balkan countries of Serbia, Republika Srpska, and others participated in the forum.
For the second time, students from Ivanovo State University have been welcomed to Pale Primary School in Pale, Republika Srpska. They attended a Russian language lesson taught by Snežana Malbašić.

On December 18-20, first- and second-year students of the "Education in Choreography" program visited the Belarusian State University of Foreign Languages in Minsk, Belarus.
On November 20, the Ivanovo State Philharmonic hosted a festive concert dedicated to International Students' Day. Traditionally, foreign students from Ivanovo universities took part in it - after all, more than 1,600 students from 50 countries of the near and far abroad study in Ivanovo, including Vietnam, India, Indonesia, Serbia, Congo, China, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and many others. No attempts to "isolate Russia" can undermine the prestige of our higher education!
