The V anniversary International Educational event "Big Ethnographic Dictation" was held back-to-back with the National Unity Day. On November 5, about 60 people gathered in the assembly hall of the 1st building of IvSU to check the level of their ethnographic literacy and at the same time to learn something new about the people of their native country. Participants passed a test consisting of 30 questions: 20 of them, the federal part of the Dictation, were common for the whole country, and 10 questions were devoted to the ethnography of our region.

Dr. Fincke is Honorary President of the Research and Educational Center of Studying of the German Law at the Law Faculty of Ivanovo State University, Honorary Doctor of St. Petersburg University, Honorary Professor of the Siberian Federal University and IvSU.
