On March 19, IvSU hosted the information day of the company Education First. Kamilla Safronova, Director of the "Language Courses Abroad" program at Education First, and John Torrey, EF English teacher from the United Kingdom, told the students and teachers of our university about the various opportunities for studying abroad, as well as aspects of learning and teaching foreign languages.

Meeting of the Council under the Governor of the Ivanovo region on the harmonization of interethnic relations

On March 17, 2021, the Ivanovo House of Nationalities hosted a meeting of the Council under the Governor of the Ivanovo region for the harmonization of interethnic relations. It was conducted by the Deputy Chairman of the regional Government Yevgeny Nesterov. The meeting was attended by Associate Professor of the Department of Sociology, Social Work and Personnel Management of IvSU Tatyana Belova, who is a member of this Council.

Cooperation agreement signed between IvSU and Association of Lawyers of Russia

On March 5, the Rector of IvSU Alexey Malygin met with a member of the Board of Trustees of IvSU, Chairman of the Council of the Ivanovo Regional Branch of the Association of Lawyers of Russia Mark Geller. During the meeting, an agreement on cooperation between IvSU and the Association of Lawyers was signed. Questions were raised about the participation of university students in the Association's projects, in particular, the competitions that it organizes. An agreement was also reached to meet Mark Geller with our students within the framework of "IvSU Career Week".

By order of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Alexey Malygin was confirmed as the Rector of Ivanovo State University. Recall that on December 18, 2020, the conference of employees and students of IvSU elected Alexey Malygin as the head of the university.

On February 16, a meeting of representatives of IvSU and Bukhara State University (Republic of Uzbekistan) was held in the Zoom-conference format. Vice-Rector for Social Affairs and International Cooperation N. Sorokin, Head of the Center for Russian Studies and International Education I. Ibragim and Associate Professor of the Department of General History and International Relations I. Borzova took part as representatives of IvSU; Vice-Rector for International Cooperation A. Juraev took part as representatives of the Bukhara State University.
