IvSU rector Alexey Malygin took part in the working meeting with the Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov

After the invitation of the Governor Stanislav Voskresensky, Minister of Science and Higher Education Valery Falkov visited Ivanovo region to hold the working meeting.

The meeting took place on the basis of Ivanovo State University of Chemistry and Technology. It was devoted to the prospects of science and higher education in the Russian Federation and integration of Ivanovo universities into various programs of university support. The Minister announced the launch of new programs for engineering schools opening and creation of platforms for university technology entrepreneurship (start-up studios).

During the meeting Valery Falkov emphasized the importance of employment of university graduates, and especially those who studied under targeted contracts.

The visit program also includes a meeting with young scientists - recipients of grants of the President of the Russian Federation and the Russian Foundation for Basic Research. IvSU will be represented by Aleksandr Kazak, Candidate of Chemical Sciences, Senior Researcher of Nanomaterials Research Institute and Senior Lecturer of the Department of Biology, Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists Aleksey Sivukhin.
