Friendship of peoples is the strongest!

On January 19, 2021, a graduate student of Ivanovo State University, Kieu Anh Vu (Vietnam), performed at the final stage of the tenth anniversary Festival of Friendship "The song helps us to create and live" (Lomonosov Moscow State University).

The concert was held in the format of an online parade-presentation on the Zoom platform. 124 students learning Russian language as a foreign or non-native language also took part. Each of them told the festival jury about himself and performed a song in one of the selected categories: "Song about Nature", "Song about Love", "Wartime Song", "Old Romance", "Comic Song", "Bard's Song", "Song from Russian Movies".

The presenters noted their courage when they were shooting their video for the selected song in severe weather conditions. And it's no surprise because our participant Kieu Anh Wu chose the monument to the fighters of the 1905 revolution as the background and expressively performed the song "The Red Army is the Strongest" ("White Army, Black Baron..."), written during the harsh years of the Civil War by the composer Samuel Pokrass and the poet Pavel Gorinstein.
