On April 27, 2023, within the framework of the International Scientific and Practical Festival “Research Activities at the Classical University,” traditional “Shakespearean Readings” were held, organized annually by the Department of Foreign Philology of IvSU. The permanent ideological inspirer of the project is the head of the REC “Modern Russian and European Lexicography”, Doctor of Philology, prof. Olga Mikhailovna Karpova.
On April 25–26, 2023, the All-Russian Scientific Conference “Liquid Crystals and “Smart” Nanomaterials” (IX Chistyakov Readings) was held at IvSU in conjunction with the XVIII All-Russian Scientific Conference of Young Scientists. The conferences were held within the framework of the International Scientific and Practical Festival of IvSU "Research Activities in the Classical University", dedicated to the 50th anniversary of IvSU.
On April 20, the annual International Scientific and Practical Conference of Foreign Students, Postgraduates and Young Scientists "World without Borders" successfully started.
April is World Autism Awareness Month, and IvSU hosts a number of events that are designed to draw attention to people with ASD, to tell the society that there are special people among us - but very creative and talented.
From March 30 to April 2, 2023, a delegation of students from the Institute for the Humanities of IvSU took part in the anniversary XV Nizhny Novgorod International Model UN. The delegation consisted of 9 students of the 1st year of "International Relations" program.
The working visit of the IvSU delegation consisting of the rector of the university A.A. Malygin and vice-rector N.D. Sorokin to Yeditepe University (Istanbul), with which IvSU has a long history of friendship and cooperation.
One of the most popular events within the Career Week was the Job Fair, where organizations from various fields of activity were represented: education, manufacturing, social services, law, banking, and others.
On February 28, the results of the International Competition "People - Language - Culture", organized by the Center for Russian Studies and International Education of the Institute for Professional Development of IvSU, were summed up at the "Boiling Point - IvSU". This event was dedicated to Mother Language Day.
On February 19, Ivanovo State University hosted an “Open Doors” day.
The event was held at different venues of the 1st academic building. Among them are an assembly hall, a reading room, a conference room and the Boiling Point. In the halls of the 2nd and 3rd floors, student organizations – "I am proud", the collegial body of student self-government, the trade union committee of students and the sports club "Impulse" – held various interactive activities and competitions.
