At the World Without Borders conference

On April 20, the annual International Scientific and Practical Conference of Foreign Students, Postgraduates and Young Scientists "World without Borders" successfully started.

According to the old and good tradition, on the first day of the event, a plenary session was held, which was opened by the Anthem of the Russian Federation and a welcoming speech by the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Ivanovo Region Evgeny Leonidovich Nesterov.

An important moment of the plenary part was the awarding of teachers of the university, among whom were representatives of the Center for Russian Studies and International Education, teachers of additional education Valery Pavlovich Sibiryakov (teacher of mathematics for foreign citizens) and Galina Nikolaevna Chikarina (teacher of Russian as a foreign language for foreign citizens). Students of Ivanovo universities were also awarded, including Matyurin Loik Morgan Itua (4th year student of IvSU) and Hung Dinh Quoc (3rd year student of IvSU).

4 reports were presented at the plenary session. The first report of IvSU postgraduate student Kiet An Wu was devoted to the research barriers of foreign language. Students of ISPU, ISCTU, ISMA also presented their research.

After a short break, 2 sections began their work. In the first section, the moderators of which were Professor of the Center for International Relations of the IvSU F.F. Farkhutdinova and Associate Professor of the Department of the Russian Language of ISCTU I.V. Dolinin, students shared their knowledge of their native language and culture. In the second section, the participants discussed the role of a teacher and mentor in the adaptation of foreign students. 1st year student Ofrael Muanda Panzu spoke about the adaptation program of IvSU.

A master class on Russian arts and crafts was also successfully held, which was organized by the head of the RIEC I.A. Ibragim and the chairman of the Primary trade union organization of IvSU students K.A. Kumirova.
