IvSU hosted an "Open Doors Day"

On May 22, the Open Day was held at Ivanovo State University. In front of the full assembly hall (1st educational building), the rector of IvSU Alexey Aleksandrovich Malygin delivered a welcoming speech. Addressing the main guests of the university – its applicants – the rector wished them success in this most important examination period: “I would like to wish you to “let go” of all the excitement, successfully pass the exams without any obstacles from your internal attitude to success”.

Responsible Secretary of the Admissions Committee Svetlana Gennadievna Ezerskaya told the audience about the rules and stages of the admissions campaign, its features in the current year. Then the directors of the institutes and the dean of the Faculty of Law spoke: the applicants and their parents were informed about the areas of training and professions that the graduates will eventually receive by choosing one or another study program. At the end of the speeches, the participants of the essay contests "School of a young lawyer" and the project "Ambassadors of IvSU" were awarded.

Later, at the "Boiling Point – IvSU" a conversation took place between parents and the leadership of the university. First, Vice-Rector for Youth Policy and Social Development Nikita Dmitrievich Sorokin spoke. He briefly spoke about the history of the university, its structure, campus, student government, as well as the international activities of the university. The questions of those present mainly concerned creative tests (in particular, in the new direction of training – “Education in the field of choreography”), the deadlines for submitting applications for enrollment, as well as the number of state-funded places and the possibility of transferring from commercial to state-funded education.

On the same day, the career guidance intensive “Stories of Knowledge” ended. Graduates again got a chance to earn additional points, which will be useful when entering IvSU.
