Delegation of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Russian Federation visited IvSU

On September 29, IvSU welcomed distinguished guests: the delegation of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Russian Federation. The delegation included Consul General of the Embassy Niyazkhodzhaev Valijon Salakhidinovich; Migration Counselor Ziyamukhamedov Alisher Sadritdinovich; First Secretary for Education Mamatkulov Damir Erkinovich; a coordinator of the consular department on issues of consular and legal nature Ibraim Arsen Talyp oglu.

The delegation was welcomed by rector of IvSU Aleksey Malygin. During the negotiations, the importance of cooperation was noted and its prospects in the field of higher education were discussed: issues of personnel training, quotas for training, living conditions of Uzbek students in university dormitories, academic exchange programs ("double diploma"). The communication took place in a friendly and constructive atmosphere.

After that the delegation of the Embassy met the students of IvSU - citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan. Mr. Consul General Niyazkhodjaev Valijon Salakhidinovich urged compatriots to study harder and acquire the necessary knowledge, because the country needs highly qualified specialists, as well as to actively interact with the Embassy on all pressing issues, master the culture of the host country and acquaint others with the rich history and culture of Uzbekistan. He also emphasized the need to respect the legislation of the host country and, of course, teachers.

Students asked a lot of questions in Russian and Uzbek languages: about the employment of graduates at home, "double diplomas", internship, problems of registration and paperwork, etc. While answering, Mr. Damir Erkinovich Mamatkulov informed the students in detail about the numerous state support programs addressed to university students, on the measures taken by the leadership of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the all-round attraction of young qualified personnel to solve pressing economic and social problems, on the constant work of the state apparatus to facilitate registration issues. The conversation turned out to be very open and informative, and the students began to understand their rights, responsibilities and, of course, educational and professional perspectives better.
