The French publishing house published the dictionary of Associate Professor of the Department of Foreign Philology Valery M. Debov "Romanic language rhymes in French rap" (Debov V. Rimes Romanes Dans Le Rap Francais. Paris, L’Harmattan, 2021).

This book is devoted to the description of Romanic borrowings in the lexical system of modern youth French slang and their widespread use in the poetic process of French rap artists in order to create the most original rhymes. The dictionary is addressed to a wide range of people: teachers, linguists, translators, students, as well as everyone who is interested in the French language and culture. Valery M. Debov carried out tremendous work to collect the material included in the dictionary.

This is not the first work of Valery Debov devoted to lexicographic problems. He is widely known in scientific circles as a talented lexicographer. He also compiled and published the "Dictionary of Verlanisms of the Modern Youth French Language" (Ivanovo, 2006), " Sigles et acronymes: Dictionary (Ivanovo, 2009), "Dictionary of Verlan-Rhymes of French Rap (Innovative Elements of Youth Poetry)" (Ivanovo, 2010), "Dictionary of Abbreviated Rhymes of French Rap" (Ivanovo, 2016), etc. Two dictionaries were published in France: "Dictionnaire des rimes en verlan dans le rap français" (Paris, La Maison du dictionnaire, 2012) and "Glossaire du verlan dans le rap français” (Paris, L'Harmattan, 2015) – and other works.
