"Hello, student!" Welcome to IvSU!

On September 1, a new page in the history of the university was solemnly opened! And what else to call the holiday "Hello, student!", when especially for the "recruits" of our university we mounted a stage with spotlights, our leadership and distinguished guests said warm greetings and parting words, and the mood rapidly rose thanks to songs, dances, jokes and shots of confetti cannons!

The holiday was held in 3 stages, according to the institutes. Our highly professional presenters – Roman Pirogov and Daria Gavrilova - brilliantly worked out all three, masterfully combining the presentation of guests, stand-up and a musical performance.

Addressing the "long-awaited freshmen", the rector congratulated them on joining the large family of IvSU and expressed the hope that the "recruits" would proudly carry the name and banner of our university through all the years of study. Alexey Malygin stressed that he does not promise new students an "easy life" - but this is the meaning of the educational process at the university, and "through overcoming difficulties, a person becomes stronger to become as successful, "exemplary", as our distinguished guests-graduates of IvSU, who will address you from this stage today. New friends, new academic disciplines, new teachers – in short, a beautiful and complex new world opens before you, dear freshmen, and I wish you, of course, health, the best mood and a successful, bright, rich student life – so that we can later be proud of you!" The rector also personally presented the student card to the most "high-point" first-year students: Tatarinova Alexandra, Zarubin Anton and Skotnikova Marina.

The "distinguished guests" were the Chairman of Ivanovo City Duma A.S. Kuzmichev, the Chairman of the Committee on Social Policy of the Ivanovo Regional Duma M.V. Kizeev, the Rector of the Institute for Life-Long Learning and Innovations E.A. Yuferova, the Director of the Department of Economic Development and Trade of the Ivanovo Region L.S. Badak and others (many are graduates of IvSU) – as well as the directors of IvSU Institutes of S.A. Manik, T.P. Kustova, E.V. Kournikova and the Dean of the Faculty of Law O.V. Sokolova. They welcomed freshmen, gave them useful advice, shared their own experience of student life and, of course, urged to love their alma mater and not to waste the precious time of student youth in vain - which means to study with pleasure, to be active, initiative and not to do anything halfway.

Thank you for your great mood and positivity, dear freshmen! Believe in yourselves, in your strength, set your goals and be sure to do everything possible to achieve them. Do not stop halfway, but strive only forward!
