From October to November of this year, the contest "Volunteer of the Year – 2020" was held. It was held in five categories: "Volunteer of the Year", "Volunteer Debut", "Volunteer Organization", "Charity Organization", "Volunteerism and Business". In total, almost 40 applications were submitted for the contest.
Among the winners of the regional stage, it is gratifying to find the IvSU Volunteer Center (nomination "Volunteer Organization") and Anastasia Romanova, a 2nd-year student of the Institute of Humanities (nomination "Volunteer of the Year")! The IvSU Volunteer Center is regularly engaged in volunteer activities: it helps in holding various events, implements the project "Good Deeds Advent Calendar" under the auspices of the KOSS, helps the animal shelter "Zoo37" – and much more! Anastasia Romanova is engaged in sports volunteering with the organization "Grani".
Due to restrictive measures, the award ceremony was held online at various platforms. On December 4, the Committee for Youth Policy, Physical Culture and Sports of the city presented commemorative signs and diplomas of the winners of the contest in the category "Volunteer of the Year". At the platform of the Regional Executive Committee of the Russian Popular Front, laureates in the categories "Volunteer Debut", "Volunteer Organization" and "Charity Organization" were awarded.
Congratulations to the winners!
