Overhaul of the 4th dormitory of IvSU completed

Marble tiles, new windows, doors, comfortable living rooms. The overhaul of the 4th dormitory of IvSU has been completed. Today, January 20, the public acceptance of works took place.

The building was built in 1982. Now the roof, windows, doors, all communications have been changed here. Each block has a shower. Much, including design, was discussed with activists of student associations.

Work began in July, the students were moved to other dormitories for a while. The renovation was completed by the end of the year. Now we need to think about the environment and equipment. According to the rector of IvSU A.A. Malygin, for the functioning of the hostel, electric stoves, beds, wardrobes, TVs, tables, chairs are needed. The application has already been made.

Housewarming is planned for the beginning of the next academic year. The hostel will house 370 students.

According to the students themselves, the repair turned out to be presentable. The hostel now looks very modern, and this creates prestige, the image of the university.
