Students from Nigeria visited the Ivanovo Cathedral Mosque

On June 9, a visit was organized for students from Nigeria, who are studying at the Center for Russian Studies and International Education of Ivanovo State University, to the Ivanovo Cathedral Mosque.

Employees of the spiritual administration conducted an introductory tour of the temple. It is noteworthy that the meeting was held in the year of the official celebration of the 1100th anniversary of the adoption of Islam by the peoples of the Volga Bulgaria. The rich common history and peaceful coexistence of confessions and numerous peoples of the Russian Federation is the key to the successful development of our multi-confessional state and a solid foundation for domestic and foreign policy.
