Our university became a member of the Association of “green” universities in Russia

Ivanovo State University has entered the community of environmentally oriented universities in our country.

The Association of “Green” Universities of Russia is an all-Russian youth ecological association of representatives of student teams of universities and colleges of the Russian Federation. It was established on February 17, 2017 as part of the federal partnership program “Green Universities of Russia”, which is implemented by the All-Russian Green Movement ECA and the Foundation for Support of Youth Initiatives “ERA”. The program is focused on the implementation of the environmental principles of sustainable development and the “green” economy in Russian universities.

The association is engaged in environmental education of schoolchildren and students, develops the environmental student movement in Russia, involving teachers as experts and scientific supervisors, and also works in the field of international student interaction and cooperation of environmentally oriented student and youth associations. IvSU received an invitation to the Association in December 2021 after we took an active part in the “Days of United Actions” for the collection of recyclables.
