At «Young Scientists Congress-2021»

On 8-10 December, 2021, Young Scientists Congress-2021 was held in Sirius Science City, on the sunny coast near the resort city of Sochi. Ivanovo State University was represented by 2 members of the Council of Young Scientists: Safonova Anastasia, teacher of the Department of Information Technologies and Applied Mathematics of Institute of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, employee of the REC Industrial Information Technologies; and Kiselev Vadim, post-graduate student of the Department of Mathematics, Informatics and Teaching Methods of IvSU Shuya Branch, Head of the Department of Information Policy and Logistics of IvSU Shuya Branch.

President of the Russian Federation declared 2021 the year of science and technology in Russia. The Congress was the final event of this productive year. Vladimir Putin personally took part in the work of the Congress. He said that a special program to support interest in science would be developed in Russia. The President also appealed to increase grants for research and allowances for young professionals.

Opening of the Congress was visited by Aide to the President of the Russian Federation A.A. Fursenko, President of the National Research Center "Kurchatov Institute" M.V. Kovalchuk, President of the Russian Academy of Sciences A.M. Sergeev - and others. They discussed significant events of the year, answered questions from the audience, congratulated young scientists, and shared their research experience in an open conversation.

Every day there were lectures from eminent scientists of our time, who discussed the problems of a particular field: biology, medicine, chemistry, mathematics, artificial intelligence, robotics, etc. - with the audience. Career opportunities for scientists, saving nature, the widespread introduction of artificial intelligence and human health have become important interdisciplinary issues..

Every day there were "Vuzpromexpo 2021" exhibitions as well as exhibitions of achievements of leading Russian companies in the fields of energy, biology, space exploration, etc. Many of the exhibits could be tested independently. At the Vuzpromexpo 2021 exhibition, scientific and educational centers and higher educational institutions presented the results of the work of students, graduate students and young scientists from leading universities.

The congress allowed IvSU participants to communicate with scientists in various fields from all over Russia, gain experience, find like-minded people and see new ways of developing their field, as well as get acquainted with the latest achievements of science and technology.
