On November 10, students and teachers of IvSU took part in a meeting with Heinrich Zertik, a consultant to the Federal Council of the CDU of Germany, a member of the CDU Land Council of the Federal State of North Rhine-Westphalia, a former deputy of the German Bundestag, a member of the Committee on International Affairs. The meeting was attended by over 70 people.
Mr. Certik answered questions about German foreign policy towards Russia, the policy of adaptation of migrants and their participation in business, pressing problems of German "green energy", as well as the parliamentary elections. The problems associated with vaccination were not ignored either: according to Mr. Zertik, the German society is experiencing the same difficulties with the rate of immunization of the population as the Russian one, and recommended that the meeting participants take a course of vaccination for the sake of their safety and the safety of loved ones.
We hope that after the COVID-19 restrictions are lifted, Heinrich Zertik will be able to visit our university to hold a similar meeting with our students in person.
